As part of Mental health Awareness Week, Auto-Sleepers are delighted to announce that the staff at the Willersey factory have raised an amazing £400.12 for the charity Mind, the mental health charity.
The pop-up event took place this past Thursday, with production stopping at the Auto-Sleepers factory between 10am-12pm so that all staff could come together and take part. Members of staff were able to enjoy a cuppa, have a delicious slice of cake and have a laugh whilst having a crack at Phil Bennett’s general knowledge quiz.
Thankfully the weather was on our side as all the fun took place in the factory yard! Amongst all the tables and chairs that were setup outside, all beverages were being provided by The Baking Bird, a beautiful, vintage 1960s Bedford CA van converted into a mobile coffee station.
The money raised will go to help the charity Mind provide advice and support to empower anyone experiencing a mental health problem. Mind campaign to improve services, raise awareness and promote understanding of mental health issues.
We’d like to say a huge thank you to all the Auto-Sleepers staff that attended, Jay, Ang, Phil and the team for organising and @thebakingbirduk for their help supporting the event.
